About me
My mission is to improve how health professionals work with the communities they serve. I conduct research, perform evaluations, and design curricula that center social justice and equity. I use both quantitative and qualitative methods to research how to reduce bias among community-based health trainees. I focus my inclusion efforts on improving academic structures to better serve those that have been historically excluded from participation in the construction of health knowledge. I use curricular interventions to improve equity in health and education.
I am available to consult with organizations to help them develop programs to improve racial equity in their workplace, evaluate existing programs, and design customized solutions for improving equity within their institution. I also work with individuals on personal coaching to improve antiracism, challenging systems of oppression, and professional development.
